Christkindlmarkt (Christmas Market)

Each November, the GACS hosts an annual Christkindlmarkt (Christmas market). Our event attempts to recreate a small version of a traditional German Christmas market and we feature local artisans and craftsmen and women selling a large variety of gifts. We also offer our guests traditional food and drink offerings, including the famous Glühwein (mulled wine). The event is free of charge and open to the public.

Confirmed Vendors (to date, more to come): Edelgard’s Gifts, Amado Ceramics, Bees Knees Apiary, Redhead Iron Blacksmith, The Apron Lady, The Bag Lady, Pretentious Pickles, Bellicchi’s Best Biscotti, Marie’s Creations Embroidery; with additional various crafted items from Dot Hay, Sue Gustafson, Marla Penn, Victoria Geck, Susan Harris, and Christina Wendland.

Holiday greens and wreaths by Kurt Van Dexter, plus cotton candy for the kids (and grownups too).

Food and Drink: Warm Glühwein, German beers/schnapps, and Bavarian pretzel stand in the Biergarten. Burgundian Waffles & More (Biergarten) Goulash dinner, Cake table, and full bar in Ratskeller.
